Will There Be Peace in Sri Lanka?

Civil war has waged in Sri Lanka, on and off, since 1983, with Sri Lankan Buddhist monks often on the side of Sinhalese nationalism. Recently the Sri Lankan military has been closing in on the last stronghold of the LTTE (the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam). At The Nation, Barbara Crossette has an article titled "Will Peace Finally Come to Sri Lanka" that provides background and explains recent developments.

After watching the videos I am very disappointed with the monks.
