David and Victoria Beckham installed a state-of-the-art mosquito exterminator at their new home in Thailand and incurred -- well, not quite the wrath, but at least the gentle disapproval -- of the local Buddhist monks. The monks have asked the soccer star and his former Spice Girl wife to find a way to discourage mosquitoes that doesn't involve killing them.
The Beckhams were keen to get rid of the mosquitoes, according to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, but they don't want to upset the monks. No doubt they are considering options. The home is on the Thai island of Koh Samui.
