Chitta

Definition:

In Buddhism, chitta most commonly refers to the totality of mental processes, particularly thinking and making distinctions.

In the Yogacara school of Buddhist philosophy, chitta is the source of all mental activities and consciousness. In Yogacara, ultimately the entire universe is chitta, or pure consciousness.
