Vairocana Buddha

Definition:

In the iconography of Mahayana Buddhism, Vairocana Buddha is the primordial Buddha or supreme Buddha. He represents the wisdom of shunyata, "emptiness." He is considered a personification of the dharmakaya -- everything, unmanifested, free of characteristics and distinctions.
