The Pure Land Sutras

Three sutras--the Amitabha, the Amitayurdhyana and the Aparimitayur--provide the doctrinal basis of the Pure Land School. The Amitabha and Aparimitayur are sometimes also called the shorter and longer Sukhavati-vyuha or Sukhavati Sutras.
