In November 2012, U.S. President Barack Obama made official visits to Thailand, Burma and Cambodia. On this tour he visited two revered Buddhist temples, which were Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Burma, and the Wat Pho Royal Monastery of Bangkok, Thailand.
